The former NRL player tells a Sydney court he asked the woman he met at a hotel in Bondi more than once if she consented to have sex with him, because of education on respectful relationships conducted by his football club.

Former NRL player Tristan Sailor has told a court he asked a woman for consent twice before an alleged sexual assault and she didn't want him to leave after intercourse.
