How mussels maintain adhesion underwater - EurekAlert

A research team led by POSTECH professor Hyung Joon Cha revives surface adhesion in proteins by adding cysteine-rich protein of mussels. Adding cysteine-rich protein to conventional underwater adhesives will increase their adhesion.
