All-rounder Ben Stokes, who has scored more than 5,000 runs and taken 174 wickets in his 79 tests for England, says it an "honour" to lead the test side.

England has appointed all-rounder Ben Stokes as its test captain to succeed Joe Root in the job, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced.
