Valleytronics researchers fabricate novel 2D material enjoying long-life excitons - EurekAlert

Researchers have fabricated a novel material composed of molybdenum, sulfur, selenium, and tungsten just atoms thick and that should give a boost to the emerging field of valleytronics, which hopes to store data in the momentum of excited electrons.
