老鷹高層之前就預告休賽季將有大刀闊斧動作，而後續操盤也沒讓觀眾失望，交易來墨瑞（Dejounte Murray），與楊恩（Trae Young）共組後場雙衛。交易案正式過關後，墨瑞也在引薦記者會上強調，楊恩大力招募確實打動自己。
