Global monkeypoz cases surge past 5,000 with most cases confirmed in Europe - ABC News

Monkeypox cases continue to rise globally, especially in Europe, but the World Health Organization is yet to set a date for a second meeting for its emergency committee on the disease to meet.

The World Health Organization has said that 5,322 laboratory-confirmed cases of monkeypox had been reported to it in the current outbreak, 85 per cent of which are in Europe.
