東急、L Catterton Real Estate、東急百貨店は、2023年1月31日の東急百貨店本店の営業終了後、2027年度の竣工を目指して3社共同で推進する「Shibuya Upper West Project(渋谷アッパー・ウエスト・プロジェクト)」の計画概要を発表した。また、隣接する複合文化施設「Bunkamura」は2023年4月上旬～2027年度中まで一部を除き休館する。
