Windfall tax may go up if crude prices rise: Revenue Secretary Tarun Bajaj - The Economic Times

The Centre had on July 1 imposed a levy of ₹23,250 per tonne on domestically produced crude oil. After a review last week, this was reduced to ₹17,000 per tonne as the global crude oil softened.
