日前彭博引述知情人士指 Apple 計劃將 iPadOS 16 的正式推出日期押後，供 iPhone 使用的 iOS 16 將會如期在今年 9 月向合資格裝置推送，至於 iPadOS 16 則要等到 10 月才有望提供。無法如以往般與 iOS 同步於 9 月推出，需要延期一個月的原因據說與新功能 Stage Manager 有關。
